Crowned the UK’s Most Popular Vineyard for 2018 by TripAdvisor

Glyndwr Vineyard

Visitors to the vineyard are very welcome but please note that this is strictly by appointment. If you would like to purchase wines you are requested to ring first to make sure the right person is here to help you.

 

From the East (Cardiff)

  • Leave M4 at Junction 33
  • Keep left onto A4232 towards Cardiff
  • After approximately 3 miles take 1st major exit left off A4232 to A48 (signposted A48 Cardiff West/Cowbridge/Barry)
  • At the roundabout take 4th exit onto A48 towards Cowbridge
  • Drive through St Nicholas and Bonvilston.
  • Continue along the A48 taking the Cowbridge by pass (no need to go through Cowbridge) and turn left at the next roundabout, sign posted B4270 to Llantwit Major and Llandow. Follow the new road through the Taylor Wimpey development, the road then narrows by the Cross Inn pub on the left and there is a sign pointing to Llanblethian. Take the 2nd left turn (immediately after the Cross Inn) and Glyndwr Vineyard is the 1st turning on the right opposite the red post box in the pub car park. You will see two brick pillars, the left one marked Glyndwr House.
  • Parking for the vineyard is on the right of the gravel drive near the entrance. Accommodation is the first turning on the right hand side.

From the West (Bridgend)

  • Leave M4 at Junction 35
  • At the roundabout, take the first exit onto A473 toward Pencoed
  • At the next roundabout take 3rd exit onto Felindre Road
  • Continue on the A473 for approximately 3 miles and turn left at the end onto A48
  • Proceed along the A48 for about a mile and at the first roundabout turn right sign posted B4270 to Llantwit Major and Llandow.
